Cotton swabs have been a revolutionary way to clean your ears. But the amount of waste that is produced annually is alarming. The Earth’s Ears is a cotton swab that instead of a plastic tube, is recycled paper containing seeds. Once you finish using the swab, throw it into a pot of soil, and water it. It will soon decompose and the seeds will grow into house plants. I have made recycled paper out of exam papers and newspapers, and coiled them into tubes.
